To begin with, the movie had a really impressive start. I say this because the previous Nadir Shah movie Amar Akbar Anthony was a pain for me since its start.
Moving further, it happened to be typical old school Malayalam movie with song and dance numbers with every other person in the street dancing along with the hero and heroine and so many purposeful sentimental scenes.The director, Nadir Shah succeeds in taking the crowd with his regular comedy strips.
Coming to actors, Siddique, as always before proves to be super versatile. Salim Kumar, tries to be the old him and somehow manages to attain that, but is indeed sure that he has put some effort to bring in that "easy" look. The film scripted by Vishnu Unnikrishnan has a story similar to his life in the industry. Being the lead himself, he has put in a good effort, but yes his limitations as a newbie in major role is evident.
