Abrid Shine's directorial venture after Action Hero Biju, Poomaram is nearing its final stage of filming. The movie which has Kalidas Jayaram in the lead role will also feature a bunch of new comers in supporting roles.

Kalidas Jayaram plays a college student in Poomaram. The movie has no heroine and no veteran actors as such.

The latest news from Poomaram crew is that Kunchakko boban is doing a cameo. He plays himself in the film.

Produced by Dr Paul and Abrid Shine under the Banner of Abrid Shine productions. Njanam is handling DOP department. The movie will hit screens in January 2017.
